Questions About Coatings, Floors or Decks? Ask Away.
These are the questions Wasatch Front property owners ask us most:
what we coat, how pricing works, how long a floor takes, and when we
can work outside. Don't see yours? Call and ask.
We work the Wasatch Front from our shop at 452 N 1100 W in Centerville. That covers Davis County towns like Bountiful, Farmington, Kaysville, Layton, Clearfield and Syracuse, plus Salt Lake City, Sandy, Draper, South Jordan and Ogden. We also drive out to Park City. If you are not sure you are in range, call and ask.
What do you coat?
Concrete and decks. Garage floors, basements, shop floors and commercial floors get epoxy, flake, metallic or polyaspartic systems. Porches, patios, driveways and walkways get resurfacing, repair, staining or sealing. Plywood and concrete decks, balconies and walkways get a waterproof membrane system. Pool decks get a slip resistant coating.
How long has Complete Concrete Coatings been in business?
Since 2005. The company is still family owned. We are licensed and insured. Customers have left 77 reviews on Google with a 4.8 rating. Paul answers the phone Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
How much will my floor or deck cost?
Every job gets priced in person, free. The number comes from the size of the surface, the shape the concrete is in, and the system you pick. A quote over the phone would be a guess, so we come look instead. Call (801) 347-4518 and we will set a time.
How long does a garage floor coating take?
Most garage floors are finished in 1 day. We grind the slab and repair cracks in the morning, then lay the base coat, the flake and the clear top coat. We can bring a storage trailer for what is in the garage while we work. As a general rule you walk on it the next day and park on it a few days later.
Is there a warranty?
We pass on the manufacturer's warranty and apply every product to the manufacturer's specifications. The exact terms depend on the system you choose, so ask which product we plan to use. We go over it at the free estimate.
Can you coat concrete in the winter?
Indoor floors, yes. Garages, basements and shops get coated year round. Outdoor work waits for warmer weather. Sealers and stains go down between 50 and 90 degrees, and deck coatings run spring through fall. New concrete also needs at least 30 days to cure before it gets sealed.
Do I have to replace cracked or flaking concrete?
Usually not. If the slab is sound underneath, we repair the cracks, spalling and pitting, then coat, resurface or seal it. That costs a fraction of tearing the concrete out and pouring new. A slab that is sinking or heaving is a different problem, and we will tell you if that is what you have.
